I saw these on DA recently. I have to say, I like how you added the little segment in Duke's tender, where you can see a bit of coal seeping out. I think it makes it look like it's ready to be shoveled into the fire. Well done, bud!

For taking initiative on the new forum, the initial members of the site (specifically notified via PM) will receive exclusive access to a pre-release version of Duke as a thank you from me to them. Please ignore the face, just something I threw on to export him and I have yet to get around to the face-pack. That aside, there are several key points on the model to be addressed but, im in the sharing mood, so heres a little teaser of whats to come:

As the old engine would say himself, that would definitely suit His Grace! That model looks smashing, Adam! Looking forward to seeing more of him!

I think the comments about the old Duke pretty much sings his praises and say what I want to say. Well done, Adam.

Resized duke a bit, rebaked him, and added a real duke face.

I think he is cross because his driver (or fireman)is trapped in the shed. And if you need help I can make a face pack for you.

I think Duke should be a more orange-brown color and should be shorter

Hopefully I'm back for a while mates, schedule permitting. Now on to what some of you might be asking from the clip in the video. I have a pm out to Paul Hobbs and am awaiting a reply from him on yea or nae about his scripting, but even if its no, Ive still got a back up plan that will still allow for animated couplings, albeit, manually rather than automatic. In the mean time, Ive got some small projects planned

Now for a full status update on duke:
Duke:
Mesh...........99% Cab............95% Scripting......75% Textures.......99% Bogey..........100% Faces..........98%
Overall..........94% Complete
Tender:
Mesh............100% Scripting.......100% Textures........100% Bogey...........100%
Overall.........100% Complete
The driver is a WIP and still is in need of texture refinements. Also, I am still debating weather or not to add head-codes at all or just give it the capability for later... Hopefully duke will see the light of media-fire late tonight or tomorrow.
